The release
Released for the Evergreen Rodeo's 60th
Rough Stock Reserve is being released in celebration with the Evergreen Rodeo and its 60-year milestone. It's available in person at The Lazy Butcher, the Cowboy Lounge, and the restaurant at Black Hat Cattle Co.
Enjoy it by the glass, grab a bottle to take home, and pick up signed bottles while they last.
Tasting notes
What's in the glass
A high-corn bourbon aged just shy of six years in small new-oak barrels, bottled at 100 proof.

- Mashbill
- 95 / 4 / 1 Corn, rye, and malt
- Age
- Just shy of 6 yrs Patience in every pour
- Barrel
- 30 gallon New char #3 white oak
On the palate
- Up front Corn and grain sweetness
- Mid-palate Rye spice
- Finish Sweet and slightly fruity
Smooth for a 100 proof pour.

The name
Named for the untamed
In rodeo, "rough stock" is the untamed animals, the broncs and bulls nobody's broken yet. It's a fitting name for a bourbon made for rodeo weekend: bold, a little wild, and ready to stand up to a plate of BBQ.

Rough Stock Reserve is bottled at 100 proof and poured neat, on the rocks, or in an Old Fashioned. It's our own label. Grab a bottle to take home, and pick up a signed bottle while they last.
